Smokehead Blast is an Islay single malt with a strong peat smoke character and a sherry cask finish, bottled at 48% in a limited quantity.
The nose brings Islay smoke alongside creamy, fruity notes of pudding and vanilla, with oak, and then a heavier, oily smoke. On the palate there is baked banana and dried fruit, with the woody sweetness of the sherry casks and salty smoke again. The finish is long and strong.
