Smokehead is an Islay single malt from Ian Macleod, made at one of the island's distilleries and bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Islay is known for smoky whisky, and this is a smoky, salty malt with a nose described as even more iodine-laden than iodine itself.
On the palate, expect smoke, seaweed, iodine, caramel, dried fruit and sea salt.
