Smokehead Rum Riot is a single malt from Islay, matured for at least three years in oak and then finished in rum casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The rum finish brings notes of smoke and spice, which give way to citrus, banana, a little pear and touches of honey. Burnt caramel and ripe fruit follow, alongside the characteristic Islay smoke.
