Smokin' Riff is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable Spirits, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The blend is built from five parts: 21% Knockdhu and 24% Craigellachie from PX puncheons, 18% Caol Ila from a bourbon barrel, 9% Caol Ila from a red wine barrel, and 28% North British from virgin oak. Peat smoke runs through the whole blend.
The nose brings peat smoke, pickled fruit, spices and a touch of dark chocolate. On the palate come elegant peat smoke, pickled pear, ginger and a faint hint of white pepper.
