Smooth Ambler – Contradiction Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

Smooth Ambler Contradiction is a blended straight bourbon that combines two whiskeys: a young wheated bourbon distilled at Smooth Ambler's own distillery in Maxwelton, West Virginia, and a long-aged bourbon sourced from elsewhere. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The name refers to the pairing of opposites: young and old, local and sourced, wheated and high-rye. Both components are stated openly. On the nose there is vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and oak spice. The palate is balanced, with sweet corn and wheat character from the young bourbon and depth from the aged one, and the finish is medium and smooth.
