Sonoma West of Kentucky is a bourbon whiskey from Sonoma Distilling Company, in a 75cl bottle. It is a young bourbon, and its profile is shaped by finishing in used oak and by smoking with cherrywood.
Careful ageing and these less usual techniques work together to give a layered mix of aromas and flavours, and the oak finish and the cherrywood smoke are the two features that set it apart from a more conventional bourbon.
