A 19 year old single malt from the south of Islay, distilled in 2007 and matured in a refill port cask. It is bottled by A Dream of Scotland and comes in a 10cl bottle.
The nose opens with maritime peat smoke, sea air and a hint of harbour, alongside a bittersweet fruit note like toasted bread with dark jam. The port influence stays restrained.
On the palate, a full, smoky start brings red fruit and gentle malt sweetness, followed by black olives and lightly salted bread. The finish is medium in length, with salty touches and a sweet raspberry note.
