Southard's Brown Seal is a fine old blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s.
The nose is usually described as malt, honey and light brown sugar, with occasional hints of red grapes. On the palate it has a medium-light body, with malt, a tea-biscuit quality, honey sweetness and subtle fruit.
The finish varies, but can bring lingering sweetness, faint smoke and mild spice.
