Southern Comfort Black is an American whiskey blended by Master Blender Drew Mayville at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky. It is made from a proprietary selection of whiskeys from Sazerac's North American reserves and is bottled at 40% ABV, a higher strength than the classic Southern Comfort.
The flavour is silky and sweet, with caramelised peach, vanilla, cinnamon and a touch of spiced confectionery, balanced by a gentle whiskey warmth. The finish carries hints of young rye, bourbon and rock'n'rye liqueur.
