Speymalt from Macallan Distillery 2003 (Gordon & MacPhail) (70cl, 58.3%)

This is a single cask Speyside single malt from the Macallan distillery, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2023, at a cask strength of 58.3% ABV. The outturn was 314 bottles, and the whisky is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The nose brings stewed berries on dark chocolate mousse, with orange oil. On the palate are juicy cherries and blackberries, roasted coffee beans and a mix of nuts. The finish is medium in length, with ripe oak and strawberries.
