Speymalt Macallan 2005/2024 19 Year Old (70cl, 56.5%)

This Speymalt from Macallan is a single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, one of Scotland's oldest independent bottlers. It was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2024 at 19 years old, at 56.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The Speymalt from Macallan collection reflects the long relationship between Macallan and Gordon & MacPhail. The nose is floral, with white lilac and lily of the valley, candied lemon and orange, balm and hay, becoming malty and spicy with ginger, cinnamon and rice pudding. On the palate there is banana and pineapple, a liqueur-like note of old Sauternes, cardamom, sandalwood and incense. The finish is long and silky, with liquorice and Havana cigar smoke.
