This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt, selected by independent bottler Signatory Vintage for its 100 Proof Exceptional Casks range, edition #17. It was bottled in 2026 at 57.1% ABV.
The whisky matured in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. It is bottled without chill-filtration and without added colour.
The nose offers ripe figs and juicy orange with a deep, winey sherry character and a touch of dark chocolate. On the palate there are dried dates and figs, spicy oak and bitter chocolate. The finish is long, with black tea and a hint of brown sugar.
