A Speyside blended malt, eight years old and bottled at 40% ABV. Its Pure Malt label marks it as a blend of single malts.
The nose brings dried sweet spice, vanilla and a slightly sawdusty edge of wood, along with wax, Ovaltine and light honey. On the palate it is clean and tingling, with a little light smoke and grassiness, and a chewy, nutty, light-bodied texture. The finish is short and clean, fading gently into malt and spice.
