A Tasmanian single malt in a 500ml bottle, bottled at 48.3% ABV. It is matured in two kinds of cask: 30% American oak ex-bourbon and 70% American oak that held Cabernet wine from South Australia's Clare Valley. The casks have been shaved, toasted and re-charred.
The palate brings vanilla fudge, lemon drizzle cake and candied orange peel, followed by stewed plums, cinnamon, fig jam, praline, cream-butter pastry and vanilla custard. The finish offers dark cocoa and mocha, with a lingering note of rum and raisin.
