This is a 10 year old Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Springbank carries out everything on site, from malting to bottling.
The whisky matured in a mix of 60% bourbon and 40% sherry casks and is lightly peated. It is bottled non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The nose brings fresh citrus, pear and vanilla with honey and a light salty sea breeze. The palate is oily and full, with malt, caramel, spice and a touch of peat smoke. The finish is long and balanced, with maritime hints, oak and a restrained smokiness.
