This is a 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Springbank, bottled at 46% ABV. It is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is full-bodied, with dried oak, peat smoke over an earthy root note, a touch of exotic fruit and some saltiness. On the palate there is pronounced grain sweetness and rich peat, with dark nuttiness and swirling smoke.
The finish is long and fresh, with a coastal edge, lingering peat smoke and dry oak.
