Springbank – 10 Years (46%)

Springbank 10 Years is a Campbeltown single malt matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, 60% bourbon and 40% sherry. It is bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration and at natural colour. The barley is partly dried over peat in the distillery's own maltings, and the spirit is distilled 2.5 times. From floor malting to bottling, everything is done on one site in Campbeltown. The nose is lively and grainy, with gooseberry, mango, vanilla, grape and honey. On the palate come fruit and grain, malted barley and orange, then floral, honeyed notes, toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is distinctly salty.
