This is Springbank 10 Years, a Campbeltown single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Springbank is one of the few distilleries where every step is still done by hand. This ten-year-old carries a light smokiness.
The nose is led by fruit: pear, citrus and olives, with honey and a little smoke. The palate is subtle and medium-bodied, with vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and coconut, alongside leather and tobacco. The finish is long and balanced, lightly sooty, malty and salty.
