This is a 10 year old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in both bourbon and sherry casks. It is lightly peated, with maritime notes alongside a fresh, fruity balance.
On the nose there is plenty of oak, exotic spices, guava, heather honey and soft smoke. The palate is full, sweet and creamy, with hints of smoke, marzipan and cigar boxes. The finish stays smoky and fades to sweet cider and toasty barley.
