This is Batch 27 of the Springbank 12 Years Old, a Campbeltown single malt released in February 2025 at a natural cask strength of 55.9% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The 12 Years Old appears in regular batches, each with a different cask make-up, and is always lightly smoky. This batch is made up of 60% bourbon casks, 35% sherry casks and 5% rum casks.
Springbank is one of the few distilleries where every step is still done by hand.
