A 15 year old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, bottled on 15 April 2026 as batch 26/59. It is 46% and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks. Even with a strong sherry influence, Springbank's dunnage warehouse aroma, light peat, saltiness and mineral notes remain clear.
The nose is big and rich, with cured meat, beef jerky, clove, mint, iodine and tinned plums, plus a maritime note. The palate shows soot, stove smoke and tobacco leaf alongside plums, walnuts, figs, demerara sugar and cocoa powder. The finish builds with soot, leather and walnuts.
