Springbank 18 Years Old is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Springbank was founded in the 1820s, although whisky had been distilled illegally on the site long before that.
The distillery is owned today by Hedley Wright, a descendant of the founding Mitchell family. Campbeltown was once a significant whisky region, with more than 30 distilleries active at times.
