This is the first release in Springbank's annual Vintage Series, in which each bottling carries its year of distillation. It was distilled in 1998, matured entirely in sherry casks and bottled in 2025 at a natural cask strength of 48.3%. Bottling was limited to 1,500 bottles worldwide.
The nose opens with Medjool dates, blackberries, white chocolate and caramel. The palate begins earthy and moves to shortbread, brandy butter and cloves. The finish brings wood, nutmeg and candied ginger.
