This is the 2018 edition of Springbank Local Barley, a series in which the distillery uses barley from nearby farms, bought in small quantities. It was distilled in 2009 and aged for nine years.
The whisky was matured in a mix of 80% bourbon casks and 20% sherry casks, then bottled at a cask strength of 57.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The release came to 9,700 bottles.
