Hazelburn 10 Year Old is an unpeated single malt from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. It is triple distilled and matured for ten years in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The Hazelburn name comes from a Campbeltown distillery that closed in 1925. Springbank brought it back in 1997.
The nose offers green fruit, citrus, light honey and vanilla. Pear, apple, light spice, nuts and a little oak follow on the palate. The finish is soft, fruity and gently spicy, with a subtle dryness.
