This is a 16 year old Springbank from the Local Barley series, a distillery bottling from Campbeltown. It was distilled in September 1999 and bottled in January 2016 at 54.3% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in 80% ex-bourbon and 20% ex-sherry casks, and 9000 bottles were filled. The barley is Prisma, grown at Low Machrimore farm on the Kintyre peninsula.
