St Elmo Straight Bourbon is a three-year-old straight bourbon infused with natural dark cherries and vanilla beans, bottled at 44% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The bourbon was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, then infused and bottled by Cardinal Spirits in Bloomington.
The nose is dark cherry with ripe fruit, vanilla bean and a trace of oak. The palate is rich, with black cherry sweetness, dark chocolate and light brown sugar, and oak tannins come through as it develops. The finish is medium and gently warming, with cinnamon, cola and sweet vanilla.
