This is a peated whisky from St. Kilian, the distillery in Rüdenau, Unterfranken, Germany. It is the Terence Hill 'The Hero' edition, bottled at 49% ABV in a 70cl bottle. St. Kilian was founded by Andreas Thümmler with master distiller David Hynes, and first ran spirit through its pot stills in early 2016. The still house combines original equipment from Scotland and Ireland, and the whisky is made by an Irish-Scottish method.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
