A St. Kilian bottling named Terence Hill 'The Hero', in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. St. Kilian is based in Rüdenau, a village in Lower Franconia. It was set up by Andreas Thümmler, who was born there, together with master distiller David F. Hynes from Dublin and brewer Mario Rudolf. The name honours Saint Kilian of Ireland. The first spirit ran through the pot stills in early 2016. The plant uses original equipment from Scotland and Ireland, and whisky is made by the Irish-Scottish method.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
