The name comes from George T. Stagg, born in Kentucky on 19 December 1835, who built the most dominant American distillery of the nineteenth century during what is known as the Gilded Age of Bourbon.
Rich, sweet chocolate and brown sugar flavours sit alongside bold rye spice. The finish is long, with hints of cherries, cloves and smokiness.
