Stagg Jr. Batch 25A is a barrel-proof Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is bottled at 126.5 proof (63.25% ABV), uncut and unfiltered, in a 75cl bottle.
The bourbon can be drunk neat or with a few drops of water added.
The nose offers caramel, dark cherry, brown sugar and toasted oak, with vanilla and cinnamon. On the full-bodied palate come rich chocolate, caramelised sugar and dark fruit, with baking spices and firm oak. The long, warming finish carries cherry, clove and a little smokiness.
