Stanhope Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made to the rules for Kentucky straight bourbon and bottled at 44.8% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in charred oak casks.
The nose opens with warm vanilla and caramel and soft wood tones. On the palate it is round, with toffee and honey, fine spice and a hint of toasted wood. The finish is soft and fairly long, with subtle oak and a restrained spiciness.
