Staoisha (Bunnahabhain) 12 2013/2026 Hidden Spirits 1st Fill Barrel

This is a 12-year-old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled under the name Staoisha by Hidden Spirits. It was distilled in October 2013 and matured for twelve years in a 1st fill barrel. Hidden Spirits bottled it as a single cask in March 2026, unfiltered. Peat smoke is the leading character. The nose is dominated by intense peat smoke, underlined by salt and seaweed. The palate is full and powerful, the smokiness joined by a fine malty sweetness. The long finish ends on a distinct hazelnut note.
