Starward – Coonawarra Single Barrel Australian Whisky

Starward Coonawarra Single Barrel is an Australian whisky matured in French oak casks that previously held wine from the Coonawarra region. The whisky was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2021, after about five years in cask. Starward was founded in 2007 and ages its whisky in red wine casks in Melbourne. The nose offers candied fruit and berries with hints of toffee. The palate is full of strong berry fruit alongside toffee notes, and the finish is long.
