Starward – Ginger Beer Cask #7

Starward Ginger Beer Cask #7 is an Australian single malt finished in barrels that previously held ginger beer made at the distillery. Each Ginger Beer Cask release uses a different recipe and process, so every batch differs. The whisky is a golden auburn colour. The nose offers ginger, orange and dark chocolate. On the palate, strong spicy ginger comes with vanilla and fresh pineapple, balanced by sweet raisins and fig. The finish is big and warming, with candied ginger, citrus and a sweet Apera note.
