Starward – Ginger Beer Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky

Starward Ginger Beer Cask is an Australian single malt that began as an experiment and has become a regular batch release. The whisky matured in Apera and red wine casks, then moved into casks that had held Starward's own brewed ginger beer, where it took on their warming spice until bottling in 2021. The nose offers candied orange in dark chocolate with tropical fruit. On the palate there is warm ginger, strong vanilla and juicy tropical fruit. The long finish brings notes of caramelised ginger.
