Starward – Nova Single Malt Australian Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Starward Nova is an Australian single malt, double-distilled from Australian barley with craft brewers' yeast, and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for three years in Melbourne's changeable climate, in lightly charred or steamed barrels from Australian wineries that make shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. The barrels are often filled while still wet with wine, which gives the whisky a long finish. The nose is bright, with red berries, orchard fruits, vanilla, caramel and soft oak spice.
