Starward – Nova Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

Starward Nova is a double-distilled Australian single malt, made with Australian barley and craft brewers yeast. It spends three years maturing in Melbourne, in barrels sourced from Australian wineries that make shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. The barrels are lightly charred or steamed, and are often filled while still wet with wine. Melbourne's varied climate shapes the maturation, and the red wine barrels give a long finish. The aromatic notes are red berries, orchard fruits, vanilla, caramel and soft oak spice.
