Starward – Peated Finish Single Malt Australian Whisky

Starward Peated Finish is an Australian single malt whisky, released as a follow-up to earlier Starward bottlings. It starts as Starward's red wine barrel-aged whisky, which is then finished for 18 months in decades-old barrels from Islay, Scotland. The result brings together two quite different whisky traditions. In the glass it is described as having bright tropical fruit from the spirit and red fruit from the wine barrels, leading to a lingering sweet peat finish.
