Starward – Tawny #2 Limited Edition Single Malt (70cl, 48%)

Starward Tawny #2 is a limited edition single malt bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It follows on from Tawny #1 and was matured fully in fresh and charred Tawny fortified wine casks, alongside some puncheons and hogsheads, which brought through bright tropical flavours. The colour is burnt orange. On the nose there is dried fruit and raisins, toasted oak, fig and dried orange. The palate opens with sweetness, then rich dried fruits, brown sugar and nutmeg. The finish dries slowly from the spice and stays well balanced.
