Starward – Two-Fold Double Grain Whisky (70cl)

Starward Two-Fold is an Australian double-grain whisky in a 700ml bottle. It is made from malted barley, which gives depth, and Australian wheat, which adds a dry, aromatic character. The whiskies are matured separately in Melbourne's varied climate, in lightly charred or steamed barrels sourced from Australian wineries that make shiraz, cabernet and pinot noir. The barrels are often filled while still wet with wine. The separate whiskies are then combined. It is described as smooth, with spiced vanilla, tropical fruit and cereal notes, rounded with red apples and berries.
