Starward x Lagavulin is a collaboration between the Melbourne distillery and the Islay distillery, in a 70cl bottle.
Starward's single malt was finished for a further 18 months in peated Scotch barrels from Lagavulin. The whisky was aged in Melbourne, where the changeable climate makes the barrels expand and contract, which draws flavour from the Lagavulin wood.
