Host is a Danish double malt from Stauning, bottled at 40.5% in a 70cl bottle. Bourbon cask, port cask and virgin oak are all named among its casks. Stauning is a distillery on Ringkøbing Fjord, started in 2005 by a group of friends who wanted to make single malt in the spirit of peated Islay whiskies. It works with ingredients from its own region and a wide variety of casks.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
