Stauning Rye Sherry Cask Finish is a Danish rye whisky finished in sherry casks, bottled at 53.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Stauning was started in 2005 by a group of friends: four engineers, a teacher, a chef, a butcher, a pilot and a doctor. The distillery sits on Ringkøbing Fjord and works with ingredients from the region and a wide variety of casks. Alongside its standard range it also releases single cask bottlings.
