This is a Danish rye whisky from Stauning, dating from 2017 and due to be bottled in 2027 at ten years old. It began its maturation in new American oak. On 1 December 2020 it was moved into a second-fill barrel that had previously held Demerara rum. The rum finish is meant to add depth, an exotic sweetness and some spice alongside the distillery's rye character. Bottling is planned at natural cask strength, thought to be around 56.3%, with roughly 190 bottles of 70cl expected from the cask.
