Stauning Rye (Design Edition)

Stauning Rye in its Design Edition is a Danish rye whisky made from malted rye and barley and distilled in pot stills. It is described as capturing the character of freshly baked Danish rye bread, with rich, roasted scents. The nose has rye bread, wine gums and a hint of pepper. On the palate there is gentle dried fruit, ripe cherry and peppery oak, balanced by vanilla and citrus peel. The finish is peppery at first, then long, smooth, fruity and sweet.
