Stauning – Rye 3 Year Old That Boutique-y Rye Whisky Company (50cl, 48.5%)

A three-year-old Danish rye whisky from the Stauning distillery, bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 50cl bottle for the rye series of That Boutique-y Rye Whisky Company. Stauning was started in 2005 by a group of friends that included engineers, a teacher, a chef, a butcher, a pilot and a doctor. They distil on Ringkøbing Fjord, using ingredients from the region and a wide range of casks. The rye series gathers craft rye whiskies, made in small batches at unusual distilleries and in unusual regions.
