Aurora is the 10th anniversary edition of Carolus whisky, made by Stokerij De Molenberg in Belgium. This 2023 bottling comes in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV, in an edition of 16,000 bottles.
The whisky matured in bourbon and Anker casks, then spent 18 months finishing in Sauternes casks. Sauternes is a sweet white wine from Bordeaux in France. The finish in these casks brings notes of honey and apple.
The finish is full and dry.
