Stokerij De Molenberg – Folle Blanche 9th Anniversary Edition 2022 (50cl, 46%)

Folle Blanche is the 2022 bottling of Carolus, the Belgian whisky from Stokerij De Molenberg, released for the ninth anniversary of the Carolus whisky. It comes in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV. The whisky matured in Bourbon and Anker casks, then spent a further three years in cognac casks. That cognac was distilled from Folle Blanche grapes, which gives the whisky its name and is said to bring notes of wood, vanilla, flowers, fruit, honey and leather. The edition was bottled in a run of 16,000 bottles.
