A single malt Scotch sold as Strathspey Highland Malt, dating from the 1960s. The nose has autumn leaves, cooked apples, old varnished wood and a faint, earthy dustiness, with dark chocolate orange. The palate is medium in weight with a soft, gentle mouthfeel, and old woody notes of sugared almonds, brazil nuts, Danish pastry, cold apple pie and vanilla chocolate. The finish is of decent length, with apple pie and a soft cinnamon tingle.
